Winterslow Surgery Pharmacy in Danger A new GOVERNMENT WHITE PAPER ON PHARMACY SERVICES has been issued The Government is currently considering changes to dispensing surgeries which will curtail dispensing by doctors. Proposals are not yet clear about exactly what would happen in the case of practices like ours with two dispensing surgeries. It is quite possible that the practice will be forced to cease dispensing from Winterslow and that will result in the almost inevitable closure of our surgery. Alternatively the practice could split into two, with Winterslow patients no longer able to use Endless Street, which would mean a considerably reduced service. It is extremely important if you wish to keep both our surgeries and dispensaries, that you make your views heard. You can write or e-mail to the addresses below, saying that you are a patient in a split site (rural and town centre) dispensing practice and that it is essential to keep the present arrangement with a choice of places for consultation.
