Village Shop - Post Office and Central Stores The Village Shop (Central Stores and Post Office) is situated in Middleton, Middle Winterslow about 100 yards from the School. Dear Winterslow, A huge thank you to all for making us feel so welcome. We are settling in very nicely - but still lots of stuff in boxes! Mike and I would like to let you all know about some changes in the shop (drum roll please) We have a new bake off bakery 'Cruise de France', with butter croissants, donuts, French sticks, meat pasties, Cheese & onion pasties, 8" sausage rolls and not forgetting the very tasty Breakfast turn over with bacon, pork sausage, egg, beans & tomatoes wrapped in light puff pastry. For those with a sweet tooth, we have yum yums and iced donuts. Come and see the full select - come early to avoid disappointment as we presently only bake in the mornings. If you're are having a dinner party, family get together or children's party you can pre-book the quantity you require of French sticks or crusty rolls or yummy donuts, and for very large orders there would be a small discount. The Village Shop stock a wide range of Grocery items and Oriental Food, as well as Magazines, Stationery and Household consumables. We also operate a Newspaper delivery service. Normal Opening Times
The Post Office does postal services, stamps, road tax, NRA fishing licences and more.... Phone 862973
The last post Monday to Friday is at 4:30 pm and on Saturdays at 10 am. There is now NO Sunday collection from any post box |
